This kit was originally 'Realborn Dustin' by Bountiful Baby and has unique artistically crafted skin tones, hair, and details. He is a fully completed and assembled reborn baby that has been professionally artist-painted and individually weighted to closely replicate a
newborn
baby boy. He is approximately 20 inches long and 5 pounds. He has full arms and legs attached to a non-jointed, soft cloth body that makes him snuggle and move like a real baby. His beautiful skin tone was created using Genesis Heat Set Paints that give off no odor. He has subtle blue undertones, hand-painted eyebrows, rooted eyelashes, tiny capillaries, and his little nails have been tipped and sealed with a light shine. He has gorgeous dark brown, human hair that was rooted using a gauge 43 3-barb needle, which allows every 1-2 hairs to be placed individually! It is amazingly soft with a sparse baby look.

.  I have been hand painting and assembling reborn dolls since 2015. Every doll I make is weighted and stuffed using tiny glass beads in the limbs, head and body, and premium poly-fil to give each a soft, squishy feel that will make anyone want to hold them. Dustin has been uniquely stuffed to give him an especially lifelike floppy feel as he nestles into your arms. But this means that he will need to be held carefully with his head supported, just like a real baby in order to protect his neck.
These dolls are not meant for young children. Although they are well put together, they are collectables that are meant to be held and loved and dressed, but treated with tender-loving care and a gentle touch!
Dustin will come home to you in a brand new layette outfit. He does not have a magnet, but he will come home with a modified pacifier.  He will come home with a diaper, a COA, Care Instructions, his Birth Certificate, and a few extras. If you would like to change his name and birth certificate to something special to you, we are happy to customize it for you.
