Description

This print
depicts Queen Alexandria and the Empress of Russia inspecting an Airedale Terrier War Dog. The tall man holding the dog is the famous war dog trainer, E. H. Richardson.
This is a black-and-white plate from an extremely rare book that is approximately 90 years old. It has a blank back, meaning it was printed separately from the text for better quality and then tipped in or sewn into the book when it was bound. It would look wonderful framed.
The paper is heavy and of quality. The picture is nicer than the scan with cleaner tones and better details. The page measures approx. 5.25 x 8.5 inches, and the picture (without margins) is approx. 5.6 x 3.75  inches.
This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
