    Description

    This charming print of
    Alaska
is from a rare children’s book, circa 1940, published long before statehood! It depicts an Alaskan Malamute or Siberian husky dog carrying a pack alongside a gold prospector. Presumably they are on the
    Klondike
    trail, on their way to
    Whitehorse
. The caption reads: “Gold prospectors, bent by their heavy packs.”
This color print is on thick pebbled papers with wonderful color. The color is actually richer and deeper than my scan shows. It has text on the back, but the text is not visible through paper. This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE item over 65 years old.
The page measures approx. 9.25x11 inches, and the actual image area is about 7.75x8.5inches (19.5x21.5 cm).
This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE antique item.
All prints are delivered in an archival sleeve and packed flat with heavy cardboard or rolled in a sturdy tube. I stand behind my products and offer a FULL REFUND if you think the product does not match the description in any way.
I will combine shipping on multiple purchases (charging only the single highest shipping cost).
