This set includes a red rectangular "bucket" with a yellow lid with holes cut into it with 5 different shapes: circle, square, triangle, star and cross. There a 10 shape pieces for a child to put through the corresponding holes in the lid: 2 blue circles, 2 green squares, 2 red triangles, 2 orange stars and 2 purple crosses.  It's a great toy for teaching your child their colors and shapes. You can also teach them to count to 10 as you put the shapes in the bucket with them.  Lay the shapes out and play "I spy".  I spy something orange!  I spy a circle!  There's so much for to learn than just putting the correct shape though its correct opening.
