It is rare to find this educational toy in a like new condition, but even rarer to find it in the box with the original booklet.
Bold colors attract attention, can be used to teach colors.  Pieces all have broad sides so child can stand them up, roll circles like hoops in variety of games.  Big and little examples of each shape helps toddler to learn about relative size. Center post fits into either side of base.  All shapes fit over center post, helping toddler learn fitting relationships and practice eye-hand coordination.
Besides stacking and sorting which is the  beginning of playing with this toy, the booklet shows so many ways that a parent can show the child how to use the toy.  It also shows ways for a parent to interact in the learning process.
This toy is very rare, in fact, at the moment it is the only one listed on Ebay with the box and booklet. It is extremely hard to find one that has the have the Play and Learning Guide.  It is also quite rare to find a 40 year old toy with all the parts; however, this one has everything original including the box.
This has been stored in a smoke-free home for over 30 years.
This is a purchase that you won't regret and it can easily be passed down to the next generation just as I am doing.
