If you are reading this then you are aware of what it is and exactly how rare these are!
Back when they came out in 1995 I bought the PhoneMate Answering Machine System 2970 which included the Base Unit, Cordless Satellite Handset with the Charging Cradle (MN-90) and A/C Power Adaptor (MN-70) & user guide.
The cost of the package was a hefty 9.95 plus shipping so it wasn't your average cheapo home answering machine system.
A few years ago the ringer went bad in the base unit so I got a newer system but held onto the handset, cradle and adaptor since they worked fine and figured somewhere down the line, someone might need it.
Well, since that time I have have an automated daily search on eBay for any of the pieces and in the past 4 years I have seen exactly ONE handset and ONE A/C Adaptor for sale by different sellers and at different times. Actually the seller of the Adaptor didn't even know what he had as when I asked him what the MN-70 goes with, he had no clue.
In extensive searches of the Internet over several years I have found literally nothing except for a few replacement parts which are now discontinued.
So if you still have one of these units and need a user guide good luck finding another besides this one!
