THIS IS AN OFFICIAL PORSCHE SANCTIONED 1:43rd SCALE MODEL OF THE 1970 LE MANS WINNING RACE-CAR DRIVEN BY HANS HERRMANN & RICHARD ATTWOOD IN FULL RACING-TRIM.
THE MODEL COMES INSIDE ITS OWN UNIQUE PRESENTATION-DISPLAY BOX WITH THE FOLLOWING TEXT:-
"The first participation of a Porsche at Le Mans dates back to 1951, it took until 1970 before drivers Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood could achieve the first overall victory for the marque at the Sarth circuit. Their Porsche 917 with the number 23 ran like clockwork during the 24 hour race. They only had to pit for refueling and tire changing and covered a distance of 4607.810 kilometers. This was a cornerstone for a matchless Porsche historical victory, which to date has delivered 16 overall victories at this, one of the World's most famous motor races."
