Two-print spread featuring a close-up image of the Porsche-engined Type 2708 March IndyCar that competed in the CART series from 1988-1990, driven by Teo Fabi, who was joined by John Andretti for the 1990 season.
Aerodynamic features—especially the simplicity and fluidity of the car's lines and the rear wing of the car—are emphasized in this nicely executed photographic image, along with the transaxle and parts of the rear suspension. Looks like you could reach out and feel the pebbly surface of the racing slicks.
Please note: Any differences in color/exposure on the two halves are strictly a result of photography—the two images are perfectly matched in color.
Prints are suitable for framing, and beautifully executed in the 2005 Porsche Wind Tunnel calendar. Since the calendar is spiral bound, the inside of each image was slightly trimmed. Prints look great framed and matted with border down the middle, or framed separately and hung side-by-side.
In gorgeous, mint condition. Clean and crisp on heavy semi-gloss stock. Each print measures 11 3/8" x 16 1/2" (29 x 42 cm).
