Here at Art of the Root, we often recommend using Protection Incense for a spiritual cleansing or fumigation. There are two ways you can do this. Simply burn some in every corner of every room to cleanse and protect your current environment or you can burn some as a means to clear and protect your own energy. To do this, place a bit of protection incense under a chair while burning. Sit on the chair and cover yourself with a sheet, making sure the sheet is nowhere near the incense. Wrap it around you, leaving your head exposed. Let the smoke rise up around your body. You only need to do this for a few moments. Don’t smoke yourself out and be careful! When you are done, wash the sheet.
