Realborn Emmy Sleeping by Bountiful Baby is created from a 3D scan of a real baby. This vinyl kit has been hand painted by me using many layers of Genesis Heat-Set Paint. The hair is mostly painted, with just a few hairs rooted to add texture. The eyelashes are rooted. All rooting is human hair. The nails are tipped in white, and all paint has an additional layer of matte varnish to protect it. The body is called a 1/4, which means it is mostly a fabric body with just the forearms and hands, bottom of the legs and feet in vinyl. The cloth body is very similar in color to the flesh-tone of the caucasian doll. The body is weighted in the hands, feet, body and head with high-quality glass beads that are encased in fabric. Actual weight is approximately 2.5 lbs., so she is not overly heavy.  She is super comfy to hold! Although this doll is scanned from a girl baby, she can easily be dressed as a boy if you prefer. From Bountiful Baby: Newborn Emmy is our first Realborn to have 1/4 length limbs. Her shorter limb length makes her incredibly cuddly! She can wear long sleeve newborn sized clothing. She has all of the posability and curliness of a cuddle baby, but does not need her hands and feet covered.  She is about 19" inches long and she has a head circumference of approximately 13.25".
