Rosie was created from the LDC Softline Rosie kit by the very talented sculptor Sandy Faber. Rosie has a full anatomically correct vinyl body that the head and limbs are used to connect inside the body. Her arms legs and head are all free moving. Please be gentle with them so none of the connectors or elastics inside will snap. I put some Vaseline around limbs where vinyl meets vinyl so they do not rub too much. She weighs 6 pounds and is 19 inches long from head to toe. Layers and layers of Premium Airdry Ultimate Fusion paint was used to create this amazing living skin tone and sealed at each level for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Rosies limbs are filled with glass beads, poly pellets and fresh fiberfill. The body and head are filled with the the same mixture. Being full vinyl she will not be as soft and floppy as a baby with just a cloth body but the realism with posing and displaying is gorgeous. Because she is a Softline kit her vinyl is much softer and squishy than regular vinyl. It’s a little closer to feeling like silicone but it’s all vinyl. I have chosen to display her with a magnetic umbilical cord. I have hand made this cord and it will be included in this auction. This is an extra that is not part of the sculpted kit. It is my free gift to you. It has a magnet so it can be taken on and off and only works when he she is being displayed laying down. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. Her finger nails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed to prevet chipping.. Her lips and mouth have been glossed to give a natural moist look. Her veins have been applied to appear under the skin for ultimate realism . Rosie has baby powder scented wafers in her body for that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love. Her hair has been rooted in a natural swirl pattern with premium mohair from delta dawn in a few dark shades of dark brown It can be combed straight or dampened and fluffed with fingers to make it curly . Her eyebrows were hand painted on one lash at a time. Her eyelashes have been hand rooted with same mohair as her hair . Rosie does not have a magnet for her pacifier as she take a regular cut modified one but she does have a magnet in her head incase you want to use a magnetic hair bow and she has one behind her bellybutton to hold her magnetic umbilical cord so care must be taken around electronics, children, pets and pacemakers as these are very strong earth magnets. Rosie is an open edition kit and does not have a coa. I can provide my sale paper from irresistibles showing where I bought kit and that she is an original legitimate kit. Her sculptors name is stamped on back of her head.
All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered except for cropping so you can see what baby actually looks like. Rosie will come home with her three piece sun flower bathing suit with the top, bottom and matching hat. I had to sew this to fit her body but you could cut threads and pull it out if wanted. She will have her two piece pink waffle print outfit with the button flap in back and the matching stocking hat. She will also come home with her three piece flowered set with the one piece ruffled onesie, matching socks and headband, she will have her four piece high heal outfit with the onesie, silk leopard panties, adorable high heel shoes and matching headband. She will have her magnet umbilical cord with clip hand made by me , her flowered diaper, her kitty cut modified pacifier, her rainbow fuzzy receiving blanket, a birth certificate , and a care instruction sheet .I believe in supporting my local second hand shops so all items may not be brand new but all were picked out just for her
