Please let me just say, that I have reborn hundreds of babies, and this particular baby, once finished, together, and dressed, had myself debating keeping her. I am not a collector, but my passion and love for newborns is greater than most anything in the world.  The way she is perfectly sculpted and reborn, to the way she feels when I pick her up and hold her, she is absolutely breath-taking.  I am a very proud reborn artist with my latest little piece of art!   I have reborn Delilah, sculpted by Nikki Johnston, to Lifelike With My Love For Newborns & Art.

Baby's Little Facial Details
I added subtitle faint veining on her eyelids and ears.
She has 3D skin baby bumps around her forehead and nose, that looks incredibly realistic.
Her little nose has not been opened.
Her lips have the perfect color, and I have given them a slightly moist look.
I only strive for the most realistic, newborn skin tone.
I use several thin layers of genesis paint
(heated so it will never fade or peel off), skin blemishes, and veining that appears under the skin.
Her little face has light veining and different tones of colors that look magically realistic.
Baby's Body
She has full arms and full legs, and her cloth body is not jointed.
I weigh her limbs half to 3/4 the way with glass sand, and then I use polyfill the rest of the way.
I do not use actual sand in my babies, this way they can always ship worry-free internationally.
I weigh her head with glass sand encased in thick nylon, just enough so that when you hold her,
her head will slightly move back and forth.
I always weigh my babies enough that their little heads aren't so heavy
(or bodies not filled enough)
that they fall to the front or back.
Her cloth body is filled with poly pellets encased in thick nylon.
When you pick your baby up, she will feel very real-like and close to the weight of a real baby her size.
She wears newborn & preemie size clothing and newborn diapers.  She is pictured in newborn size clothing.
Beautiful Head of Hair
I lightly micro-rooted her hair using beautiful medium, brown mohair from one of the bests, Delta Dawn.
Her hair lays so beautifully and brushes so nicely.
You may brush her hair using a damp baby brush or toothbrush to style as you'd like!
I have sealed her hair with strong glue, twice.
Her eyebrows have been lightly painted, and her eyelashes have been rooted and then sealed.
Hands & Feet
Those little hands and feet are in pinks and reds (just so real like),
and you'll also see realistic vein coloring and lighter colors in all the right places.
I touch the tips with an off-white natural-looking color.
They don't look professionally done, they look perfectly natural.  On her little heal is her hospital poke mark from newborn testing.  I reborn her to look as though it is her first day home from being born!
Coming Home
She will come home in her beautiful 2 piece summer romper & sweater,
2-piece warmer outfit with matching hat,
and her magnetic hair bow & magnetic pacifier.
*Please note the blanket and matching hat was used only for photos*
She is a small newborn size, so some larger preemie clothing will fit her.
She also comes diapered and wrapped in her blanket.
I always use priority, so shipping takes 2-3 business days.
I always include a tracking number so you know when to expect your baby.
New to the world of Reborn Babies?
Reborn babies are dolls that are made for many different reasons.
I have made reborn babies for nursing homes, autistic children, to replace a baby who passed away,
to resemble baby pictures, for collectors, for older children, TV shows, court trials, art shows, etc.
Reborn babies start out from a sculpt.
There are many fabulous sculptors who start from a ball of clay,
form out a head, legs, arms, belly plates, and work for several hours.
Once finished, they bake them, have them molded,
and then sent them off to make multiple vinyl kits. The kits come in flesh colors.
I am a reborn artist. I take a kit, paint several layers of paint, baking many times to make the paint permanent.
When I paint, I am adding colors you would never think are needed to make the perfect skin tones of a baby.
You can look on eBay and see reborns painted by those both inexperienced and not artists,
and those that cost more money but look the most realistic.
After I spend hours painting a baby to perfection, I root eyelashes and hair.
I use a special needle that only allows 1 to 2 hairs per hole,
taking many hours to make the hair look perfectly natural, unlike any babies bought in a store.
That's the reason reborns cost so much more, they are made in such a way that a store could never do in a factory.
I spend hours reborning a baby, bringing an unpainted kit to resemble a real-looking baby with veining and the coloring of a real baby.
I use magnets to make hair bows and pacifiers stay on. I weigh each baby to feel real when one holds one of my baby's.
Many often ask what the difference is between a belly plate, full-body vinyl, and silicone?
A belly plate is a thin, vinyl belly plate that ties on with clear string in the back of the baby's cloth body.
These are usually only - more and can come on and off as desired. When they are on the baby, the baby will often feel less realistic.
Many use these for photos and appearance only. Silicone babies are the most expensive, costing 00 and way more.
If you find a full-silicone baby for under 00, you can be sure there are many problems with the baby.  They are made in silicone, not vinyl.
The silicone dolls that have cloth bodies are usually much more affordable.
They look and feel the most realistic, but cost SO much more, and they are reborn very differently.
I have reborn 12 silicone kits that had cloth bodies, it was so much different in the painting, and gets a lot of getting used to.
You keep the same art skill, but the job is completely different and takes a lot of practice to perfect.
The feeling of them is amazingly realistic though. The downside to them is that silicone collects hair and dust,
so they are harder to take care of and keep clean.
Full vinyl babies do not have any cloth bodies. They feel less realistic than a reborn with a cloth body
because their limbs can not move as freely or pose as realistically.
Appearance-wise, they look more realistic when undressed. Full-vinyl body reborns need much better care
because they can break easily if not 100% taken care of, just as a real baby would be.
They are usually more costly than vinyl babies with cloth bodies because they take longer for us to paint.
Babies with cloth bodies can have non-jointed bodies, where the arms and legs can not move as freely.
Many like these because when the baby is dressed in a onesie, her cloth body doesn't usually show much.
The fully-jointed body babies have shoulder and hip cloth joints,
which allow the baby to feel very realistic when holding, and their arms and legs to move around more freely.
These types of babies' bodies don't show, as long as they are dressed with a full t-shirt and shorts/dress/bloomers, etc.
Why do many reborn artists say these are not for children?
The biggest reason is the time spent making a reborn, then the price to buy a good-quality reborn baby.
As for my babies that I sell, I am proud to make any child happy, just as long as the adult buying one of my babies for a child,
understands that they are 100% responsible to be sure to watch the child with parts of the baby that can choke their child.
As other reborn artists suggest, these are not intended for young children under 12.
Reborn babies come with pacifiers that have a magnet glued on the outside. Girl's usually come with a magnetic hair bow.
These are small parts that can choke a child.
It is always the responsibility of a reborn artist to say that these are not for young children because these small parts can choke a child.
Please understand that if you decide to buy a reborn baby for a young child,
the responsibility is of the parent to watch the child so that safety is number one.
