This is a hard one to describe- sorry!
In 2015 Tatcha, the maker of my favorite skin care line, gave this wonderful goat as a Chinese New Year gift with purchase.  It came with a black lacquer base which is not included in this listing.
The fabric seems like a raw silk.  The spots you see in the photos are tiny gold flecs, not dirt!  It is totally weighted inside so almost like a solid piece.  I have seen craft like this from Japan but I don't know what it is called.  I do know that the gifts Tatcha gives are always special and very well made and very much regional to Japan.
It measures approx 5" X 4" X 2.5".  Very hard to measure a rounded edge piece so please understand I mean approximate.
He really is adorable but I'm needing to downsize.  Excellent condition.
