Up for bid is is another delightful estate find. This is a Antique or Vintage Bronze Metal Airedale Terrier Dog Bookend. This single bookend has a painted green base and a red collar. I believe it could be used as a doorstop as well. It is Unsigned so the exact vintage and origin are unknown. It came from a local Estate. It shows gentle signs of age and wear. One can see the bronze metal under areas where the paint is worn. It adds to the charm of this piece. It measures just under 6” in height and widest point.
