Vintage Dulevo Russian Porcelain Man with Accordion on Goat Figurine

Description

Made in USSR Gilt accent. Dulevo porcelain factory was established in 1832 by Terenti Kuznetsov. His idea was to create a factory mass producing porcelain. During Soviet period the factory employed up to 6500 people. In 1958 a porcelain figurine named Falcon got grand prix during the Brussels World’s Fair.
This figurine is marked. There is a falcon symbol on one hoof and inscription "Dulevo Made in USSR" on the belly but it is smeared. He has a tiny speck of black glaze stuck on the bottom of one goat hoof - does not detract and this terrific figurine is otherwise in excellent minty condition. It is 7" tall, 5.25" long, 2.5" wide
