Description
Made in USSR Gilt accent. Dulevo porcelain factory was established in 1832 by Terenti Kuznetsov. His idea was to create a factory mass producing porcelain. During Soviet period the factory employed up to 6500 people. In 1958 a porcelain figurine named Falcon got grand prix during the Brussels World’s Fair.This figurine is marked. There is a falcon symbol on one hoof and inscription "Dulevo Made in USSR" on the belly but it is smeared. He has a tiny speck of black glaze stuck on the bottom of one goat hoof - does not detract and this terrific figurine is otherwise in excellent minty condition. It is 7" tall, 5.25" long, 2.5" wide
