I hope you enjoy the following photos of absolutely adorable newborn size baby boy that I've reborn in my nursery!
I took all the photos you see in a variety of natural lighting conditions to show how the baby's complexion changes in different light intensities of the day (just like real babies).  I don't normally use a camera flash, so the natural light changes the intensity of his skintone colors as the sun goes in and out of the clouds.  This is why some pictures look ''brighter or more brilliant'' than others.

⌛〪〭〮〬♂♀  In The Beginning...
This very newborn sculpt started out as the newly released ''Elijah'' kit by very talented and popular doll artist, Joanna Kazmierczak
.  Joanna is well known for her world recognized and incredibly lifelike sculpts and ''Elijah'' is no exception in his darling newborn expression and realism.  You can make this baby your very own to hold and cuddle as if he were a real life baby!
He is expertly detailed so that no feature is overlooked! I am obsessed with taking his picture as he's so photogenic and a joy to dress up and pose in all those sweet,  curled up newborn poses! He is an amazingly realistic in all aspects!
I have slightly changed his name to ''Eli'' for this auction but you can change his name to whatever you wish if you become his new mommy.  I will provide a blank space on his birth certificate to name him personally!

☺Body and Complexion...

This darling baby boy is considered ''newborn size''  and is approximately 18 inches in length with legs very curled up like newborns usually do.  He has full vinyl arms and FULL vinyl legs attached to a
flesh colored, cloth body
made just for this sculpt so it's very proportionate.
He fits best in newborn size clothing with some preemie sizes fitting as well depending on brand.
The Genesis heat-set painting is not overdone so as to remain lifelike as possible for a healthy newborn baby glow with a dewy complexion that is mottled to represent the newborn look.   The painting is my personal style as a reborn artist as all artists have their own way of reborning...no two reborns will look exactly alike.
I
do
use a thin layer of Genesis matte finish to cut down on shine and seal it.  I make sure it's not too rough to the touch and that it doesn't mute his coloring/blushing when cured.  I am very happy with his skin ''feel''.
Each layer of Genesis paint is applied in such a way to give the skintone depth and realism. There is
faint
bluish undertones throughout in all the appropriate places. This is to mimic areas of thinner skin and veins, and they lie just below the skin surface so they look blended...not  simply ''drawn on'' and do
not
overpower the baby's complexion.
✄♨ HAIR ✄♨
The baby boy's head of hair is micro-rooted DELUXE PREMIUM mohair that is very soft and fine from Delta Dawn! With a damp comb it can be smoothed out, and when left to dry is glossy and frizz free as seen in his photos!  It is a subtle mix of dark blonde and light blonde and is sealed under the head cavity to prevent it from coming loose with gentle combing on occasion with only minimal shedding.  His scalp was also gently painted with Genesis paints to give it extra depth and realism to his hairline.  It took me many days to complete this process and I am pleased with the results.
Excellent, top quality mohair is a MUST on all my reborns as I believe it is one of the most important features, so I spare no expense in getting the best of best for my babies!
Eyes, Nose & Mouth...
Eli has gorgeous blue mouth blown German glass eyes and he also has MICRO rooted lashes inserted one hair at a time and are very fine so they stay put.
The eyebrows are painted wispy and fine and do not overpower the baby's face.
The nostrils shaded to give depth and realism
His lips and inner mouth were painted differing shades of pinkish- mauve and glossed to protect the paint and give it a moist look.    He does have a magnet in his mouth to accommodate his pacifier.  This can be removed upon request.
NAILS
Each of the baby's tiny nail beds have been given realistic touches and glossing so they look like they've just been clipped.  The gloss finish is permanent and will resist chipping or yellowing with normal handling.
Weighting & MISC....
The baby's limbs have been weighted with ultrafine glass beads and premium polyfil.
I put some high quality glass bead and polyfil in his cloth body area with more concentrated weight in his bottom to balance the weight.  His head is weighted  to simulate an newborn baby with very little neck control so it will need support just like a real newborn baby. He is very floppy to curl and bend easily for newborn poses!
**If you prefer a heavier or lighter baby than his original weight posted in this auction...  I can provide an extra zip-tie for you remove the head from the cloth body and adjust his weight and stuffing to your own liking using your own materials as I realize tastes in weight and stuffing vary so much from buyer to buyer.
There is
no sand
used so this baby is able to travel anywhere overseas from the USA.

This baby boy
was a joy to photograph and will come home with all the outfits seen in the photos plus a luvy to hug on his way home.  Brand names include Zara Mini, Carters, H&M and some hospital garb.
He is such a joy to shop for,  dress up and pose!
TUMMY AND CHEST PLATE INCLUDED for open shirt and diaper only poses. This is removable for cuddle time.
Magnetic Paci is included !
I can remove these magnets if necessary as they can harm those with pace-makers.
